Sage Intacct has recently launched the newest release of their cloud-based ERP and accounting software solution– Sage Intacct 2018 Release 3.
As your business grows, so does the complexity of your finances. Release 3 provides the flexibility you need to handle that growing complexity. This flexibility means you can stay focused on what’s important – meeting your profitability targets and growth challenges while controlling costs. The enhanced capabilities free up time for less routine, more strategic activities, and mean that accounting can be a more valuable partner in growing your business.
What’s new with Release 3
Here are some of the highlights of the new or enhanced capabilities included in Sage Intacct 2018 Release 3.
Until now, consolidations have been under the control of corporate headquarters. Allowing regions to run their own consolidations would mean giving them access to the whole company, something most companies don’t want to do. But your regions need access to timely reporting and financial information to make the best decisions. Release 3 gives you the capability to grant access to designated users to run their own consolidations independently – so they get the information they need, when they need it.
Keeping up with all of your costs can be difficult, given the range of possible sources – purchasing, accounts payable, general ledger, and more. But managing your expenses is critical to your company’s profitability. Release 3’s spend management capabilities help you keep spending in line with budgets. It utilizes proactive online and email warnings and allows automatic prevention of over-budget transactions. And you have the flexibility to choose any budget, time period, level of detail, or transaction type for comparison.
Nonprofit Standards Compliance
Release 3 gives you a head start on complying with the new FASB 958 reporting standards. You can start with the prebuilt compliance reports and tailor them to your specific needs, meaning you don’t have to start from scratch. There’s no need to manually track disclosures in spreadsheets – the prebuilt compliance and disclosures dashboards provide a centralized location for both quantitative and qualitative information. And drill-down capability simplifies the audit process. All this information in one place means it’s easier for you to communicate with your board and other stakeholders.
Salesforce CRM Integration
When you integrate systems, you have to be concerned about both user experience and accuracy. Release 3 offers configurable profile layouts to streamline the user experience along with better synchronization to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Contract Subscription Billing and Revenue Management
Complex contracts can mean complicated billing and revenue management, especially if your software solution doesn’t automate all the scenarios you encounter. That’s why Release 3 offers support for a broader range of cases. It also adds more billing options, schedule options, and billing schedule behavior – saving you time when those unusual cases occur.
