Sage HRMS HR Actions I-9 plugin, version 10.7.1
The new release of the Sage HRMS HR Actions I-9 plugin, version 10.7.1, supports changes to Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification that were announced by the Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) November 14, 2016.
Sage HRMS HR Actions Version 10.6.13* with Sage HRMS HR Actions I-9 plugin must be installed with version 10.7.1 update by the January 22 deadline set by USCIS.

On November 14, 2016 U.S Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) released a revised version of Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification. The changes they announced are designed to reduce errors and enhance computer-based form completion. Read more about the changes in the USCIS Press Release.
Employers may continue using Form I-9 with a revision date of 03/08/2013 N. through January 21, 2017. By January 22, 2017, employers must use the revised form.
Among the changes in the new version, Section 1 asks for “other last names used” rather than “other names used,” and streamlines certification for certain foreign nationals.
Other changes include:
- The addition of prompts to ensure information is entered correctly
- The ability to enter multiple preparers and translators
- A dedicated area for including additional information rather than having to add it in the margins
- A supplemental page for the preparer/translator
